As I make my way through my 40’s, I’ve realized there is no product out there that will completely reverse the clock. Sometimes half the battle is finding the time or even remembering to apply my skincare products twice a day. A few years ago, I started using a French brand called Avene, which is gentle and soothing for my dry and sensitive skin. Avene has a wide range of skincare products, including anti-aging creams and serums. I particularly like their Eau Thermale and their Cicalfate+ (Restorative protective cream). I enjoy their repair cream moisturizer, which comes in two versions–one for the face and another for the hands. Somehow I failed to notice how much attention my skin needed until I began doing Zoom calls! It was an alert to the fact that the skin on my neck and hands is in just as much need of attention as my face.
