Just in time for the weekend, Lori and I have a beautiful and delicious cocktail to bring you an extra dose of Christmas cheer. A little jazz playing in the background, a cocktail (or mocktail) in hand, and good company is a great way to spread some holiday joy. This punch is simple to make and will create that little wow factor that we relish this time of year.
FESTIVE POINSETTIA PUNCH
Makes 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup orange liqueur
- 1 cup cranberry juice cocktail
- Top off with sparkling wine (we use Balan Millesimato Brut Prosecco)
Garnish: fresh rosemary, orange peel, cranberries
Mocktail version: Substitute the orange liquor with orange juice and the prosecco with sparkling water
This ice mold will only take a couple minutes to prep but will add a whole lot of wow factor to your punch bowl.
ICE MOLD
Ingredients:
- 6 orange slices cut into half circles
- 1 cup of cranberries
- 4-6 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Rinse the ingredients and place them in a medium-sized, freezer-friendly bowl. Cover with water and freeze approximately 4-6 hours. Once you’re ready to add this centerpiece to your punch bowl, simply run a butter knife along the outer rim until it pops free.
