A gorgeous book to inspire your next celebration

As a longtime admirer of James T. Farmer's aesthetic, I happily added his newest book to my collection. Celebrating Home A Time For Every Season has got to be one of the prettiest entertaining books I've seen in a long time. Arranged by seasonal gatherings, each chapter begins with a lovely watercolor invitation and often a sentimental poem to mark the occasion. Last Friday, Farrah and I did something that felt a little indulgent. Designer vignettes that inspire

As mentioned in a previous post, we were delighted to attend Illumination Charleston and have the opportunity to tour the historic Aiken-Rhett House last weekend. In addition to the gorgeous Christmas florals and greenery that adorned the mansion, the house featured modern furniture arrangements and inspirational vignettes by top Southeast designers.
