designer sarah bartholomew Brings a dose of springtime to a classic, georgian-style home
Extended daylight hours, birds chirping happily and a layer of pollen coating every outdoor surface must mean that spring has officially arrived in Charleston! Apart from the allergies, I do love this time of year and am looking forward to consistently warm weather and all that the season has to offer.
It’s about this time that I also get the urge to lighten up our home by bringing in fresh flowers, green plants and brighter colors. The other day, I stumbled across an old issue of Traditional Home magazine that provided lots of inspiration, while reminding me just how much I love the work of Nashville-based designer Sarah Bartholomew. I fell hard for this classic, Georgian home she decorated in soft shades of blue, green, yellow and pink. The following images were pulled from Bartholomew’s portfolio, but the 2018 May/June issue of Traditional Home included a much larger spread featuring this gorgeous home in all its glory. Have you ever seen a more joyful home so perfect for spring or any time of year for that matter?
You can see more lovely interiors by the talented Sarah Bartholomew here. In case I’m not the only one looking to add a dose of spring color to my home, I’ve rounded up a handful of items below that channel Bartholomew’s timeless yet fresh style!
